Description of IDENER
IDENER is a team of engineers, scientists and software developers exploring the potential of AI for solving challenging science and engineering problems. To do so, IDENER is using an extended interpretation of AI which fuses machine learning, systems modelling, advanced control and mathematical optimization. And with that, IDENER aims to create – new, better, sustainable – technologies and business models to ultimately contribute to human development.
What is your task in the project LIGNOFUN?
Development of mathematical model of the process and development of safety assessment
Role, Relevance & Interfaces in the Project
The modelling of the process will contribute to produce an optimal design of the process, including economic and environmental criteria from the first steps of design. The production of high-fidelity models is key for such a purpose. On the other hand, the safety assessment will help to design safe processes and products, considering this dimension from the first steps of development. A close collaboration with partners to have a comprehensive vision of their processes is critical to attain this objective.
